On August 29 and 30, 2009, we celebrated Northeast's 40th anniversary. It was a time of remembering and looking forward. We were able to visit with old friends and spend time catching up. We all came together again to worship and honor our Maker. And what a great worship we had! The blending of our voices and our hearts was a sweet glimpse of heaven. We are thankful to God for allowing all the good things that have been accomplished through this congregation over the past 40 years. We are excited as we look forward to many more years of service.
The Shults-Lewis Children's Home is once again asking us to help them with their annual commodity drive. This year they have requested that we donate chips, cookies, and toilet tissue. If you wish to participate, you can place your items on the kitchen table, marked for Shults-Lewis. We also have change cans for Shults-Lewis available in the lobby to collect your change as another way of support.
